Welcome to the site Cloudman! There is a ton of good information and research on this site, and most of it is very "user friendly" so most people can understand the terms and concepts of the posts. Sounds like you are very successful with your bat house already, and any new info on your part will be greatly appreciated!

    Happy bat housing!

Cloudman, the same is true for my little browns. When they exit they leave, I'm assuming towards water. Then later in the evening a few will come back and fly around my security light pole eating small moths.

My big browns will fly a few circles around my yard before heading off into the woods. They forage much higher than the little browns.....up around the tree tops.

The little browns forage much lower. Sometimes in my drive way they almost touch the ground going after insects.

Strangely, I never see my big browns around my light pole

With a 30 ft tower you could hang several houses on it at various levels.
