I mounted this box today in the corner next to the chimney because the maternity colony of big browns were getting crowded. Possibly as many as 50 big brown mothers are in the 3 crevice box to the left. I will do an exit count probably next week.
The new box has no ceiling and just fits up tight to the soffet......I'm basically copying Joe's design.......location is at my uncle's house about 2 & 1/2 miles from my home.
The baffles are all one inch rough sawn red pine with 6 crevices approx. 3/4" - 13/16".
