Extremely small crevice with bat

  I found this little brown bat roosting behind a brown gutter that was pulling away from the building slightly. This is on the same deck at the Nature Center that my other bat houses are mounted on.

  What makes this interesting is that the crevice is between 3/8 and 1/2"! My pinky finger barely fit where the bat was roosting. I know that alot of novice bat house builders worry that 3/4" seems too small for bats, but here is proof that some bats can fit into even tighter crevices.
