Sorry I haven't posted. I checked the houses on Father's day and there were a couple bats using one of the rockets and none in the other. So basically it is good news. It was the vented bat house that was utilized and happily it attracted little brown bats. Numbers (bats and bat houses) are too small to be objective on vented vs unvented but this is still good news nonetheless. I'm going to return soon to check on the mid-late summer activity and will update shortly thereafter.
