I am located in Maine, any other Maine-based bat housers out there?
My plan is to build and install several bat houses this summer to try and be ready for next year. I plan to install a few at my home and friends homes in Oxford County, and then a few much farther north at my cabin in Piscataquis County.
It is actually interesting that I found this site, because years ago I distinctly remember a guy with a "BATNIC" trailer speaking at my Dad's Rotary Club....and that is what got my intereted!
Hi NorthWoods, and welcome to the BHF. Not sure if anyone here is from Maine but boy what a State you have which is loaded with wildlife and many bats especially little brown bats. And ya that BATNIC trailer (one and only) must of been mine and me! Glad the Internet could reunite us! I have done a few bat and bat house presentations at these organizations over the last few years. Can u recall what town/city where the presentation was held?
