We are going to Bracken Cave at the end of the month to watch the bats emerge, and I was wondering if anyone has been to there? If so, any advice on the best way to prepare for the trip?
We are planning on taking our RV and do some other sightseeing while we're there. Hopefully there are some good campgrounds there.

Sounds great Larry. Are you a member of BCI? There is a members night there annually and if it doesn't coincide with your arrival maybe there is something else special for a member. I would contact BCI for any of the info you're seeking.

Yes, I am a member of BCI, and we are attending on one of their Member's Nights -- we had to reserve a data as soon as they announced the dates. I'm really looking forward to seeing the bats emerge from the cave! BCI sent a document on the actual event, but I'm curious about what others may have experienced.

Sounds great Larry. I have yet to get there myself but have been to carlsbad caverns in New Mexico and learned about their Mexican Free tails. Carlsbad only has a fraction of the bats of Bracken tho.
