This is a run chart showing the number of google searches for "mosquitoes" over the last several years. Also a pareto of the metro areas searching for that term.
Looking at the graph I would guess that it tracks pretty closely with human-mosquito encounters during the year (which seem to peak in July).
Does anyone know if Singapore has a lot of mosquitoes? I've never been there.
