I'm from Minsk, Belarus.
I'm gonna build a bat house but can't find a good plans anywhere for free. I would pay, but I don't have any credit card or paypal account. :/ Maybe someone could share a plan or two?
This is my first attempt to build a bat house, and it seems like it would be the first bat house in all Belarus. =)

Try a web search. BCI used to have some at their site. I found plans for rocket style house online as well.

These are just some that I saw on quick search

Yes, I already have all these plans and some other as well, but they all are quite small and undetailed, and describe small bat houses, though it is said that big ones is more likely to get inhabited. I've seen many bat box plans for sale - do they give more info?

| you can scale the small plans up. The spacing(at least for North American species) are generally 3/4". You can stack as many chambers as you want and make them as big as desired

If you want to attract bats quickly, build 3 single crevice bat houses and mount them on the east, south and west sides of a building. Once they are occupied, then you could build a bigger one.
I once built a large bat house in excellent habitat and did not get any bats at all. I then built some smaller ones and placed them throughout the area on buildings and along flyways (forest edge but in full sun). That year I got bats in three of the houses.
Just experiment and have fun!
