Since losing 3,000 plus bats in the Kress bld. disaster, I've been meeting with TXDOT,the Tarrant County water appraisal district & the City of Fort Worth, they have given the O.K. and are allowing me to erect bat houses under the Trinity River bridges near downtown and are going to include them in our urban renewal projects new bridges, now the hard part, Anyone have any ideas on getting funding for this project?

You can build bat houses from scrap wood. Sounds like a good boy scout project. Both high school and college students often do or assist with projects like that. Seems like it wouldn't take a lot of funding if you locate some scrap wood and round up some volunteers.
